Areas of quiet

It doesn't matter wheter they are small or large, Japanese gardens are always charming. Now that the leaves are begining to turn and give us the warm colors of Autumn I am tempted to visit as many gardens as I can in the next few weeks.

You asked me about signing photos.

I do it for a few reasons.

Sometimes I print photos and it is useful to have the URL on the photo to identify it's source.

It also discourages copyright abuse.

I try not to let it interfere with the photo too much but usually place it where it can't be easily erased.

I'm not paranoid about copyright abuse but it makes sense to take a little care.

Actually, that is the "busiest" looking Japanese garden I've ever seen. Usually they are so minimalistic and sparse.
