Wood and Tile

I guess I am going to have to post pictures of a bunch of temples and stuff that makes the Image of the far east look really mysterious and very exotic- LOL! Well, Maybe not. The fact is that even though there are TONS of temples here, most folks are way too busy to visit them except on special holidays.

I guess that would equate with churches or cathedrals or mosques in your town, huh?

This is lovely! A friend of mine taught in Japan (and then Korea and Thailand) for a while. Of the many photos he sent, I loved those of the temples best...

Lovely temple!

I was able to visit the Meiji Shrine in Tokyo a few years ago and it had lots of people, but it was a weekend so maybe that explains it.

The Philippines is a Catholic country and our churches are always full on Sundays. Even weekday masses are still well-attended.
