OK I know the rules. I am supposed to take one picture a day and post it for your viewing pleasure.
It's just that I took two shots of the same they both turned out stranger than I expected, so here they are.
One thing that I can say about Morioka ans more specifically, the area that I live in is that there are an amazing amount of shade trees that are also perfect for climbing.
Winter is coming and I am going to miss afternoon picnics under these trees.

Outside my apartment building, there are trees that look exactly like the one you posted here. Initially, I thought it was birch but I know it's not. It's something else I read about but can't remember.
